Winter Operational Update

Honey Creek Resort, Rathbun Lakeshore Grille, and The Preserve Golf Course are currently closed for the winter season. The anticipated re-opening date is April 14, 2023.

Naturalist Programs

Join naturalists for guided hikes, meet live animals, listen to stories by the campfire, and enjoy nature-themed crafts and games. Check out our activity schedule to see what programs may be offered during your stay.

Available daily from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Activities Building

Stop by the Activities Building to chat with a naturalist and check out interactive exhibits. The Activities Building was designed by Iowa State University students to be a net-zero-energy facility, using solar and wind energy and efficient appliances. Check front entry way for programming.
